    Following Barlow's death, Hazel moved to Durham, NC to be near her brother, Ray. Later, moved to Naples, FL. Ray continues to reside in Durham, NC as of May 2005

    Vestal, was so good to hear from you and most interesting. Sorry to
    hear that so many have this eye problem. My sight left me it seems
    overnight but still do very well except straight ahead vision.
    Yes, Hazel has lived in Naples since about 1980 - When Balow,(her
    husband) died in 99 she came to Durham and then to Winston but she was
    not happy and several years ago moved back to a retirement home there.
    Good to hear about Paul's girls - We kinda lost contact since we have
    been in Durham. Maybe we can make to the reunion next year. But who
    know what the future will be.

    Died in service in Danville, VA General Hospital, 2nd Ward, 1st Div. We have copy of letter from Ward Master, W. A. Roberts written to Nancy King Fulp telling her of his death. His sons, after he was buried near Danville, VA, went by wagon and brought his body back and buried him near Fulp Town near Walnut Cove, NC. Info from AB Fulp, is that he was buried at end of Fagg Rd and Hwy 65.
