Doug and I married on November 18, 2006. My daughter Sydney Jones, born April of 2003, in Memphis Tn, Doug's Son Douglas Cole Jones, born July 2003. Our daughter Marlee Jean Jones born Oct. 2007. Doug adopted Sydney on March 14, 2007. And her name was changed from Sydney Regan to Sydney Jones.

His daughter Ruby Nell said that her dad had a stroke and was taken to the VA Hospital in Biloxi, MS where lingered for about a year. He had retired from Love Motor Company Chevy dealership in Poplarville, MS., He was their chief automobile mechanic. He also got his brother, Raymer Phelps Peters, a job there as an auto mechanic. He suffered from high blood pressure, but didn't take any medicine for that condition.. After he retired he ran a Pure Oil Gas Station.

They were living in Rayville, LA when Ida passed away. Marie Alexander was fifteen and had married by that time. I knew my Aunt Mernice, who is still alive, but only met Aunt Marie
