  SOI: Census Records JM Fulp is listed in Robertson Co, TN Census of 1870 as age 25, Occupation - Farmer; Land value $3500 with Nancy Fulp 24, and L.G Fulp 1, RB-30. Listed in 1880 Colbert Co. Alabame census as tenant farmer. Died from appendicitis. In 1863, he was in the Union Forces. Obituary: J. M. Fulp, Sr. a good and substantial farmer of Spring Valley, died yesterday of pneumonia. He had only been sick about a week. He leaves a family of seven children to mourn his loss, his wife having preceeded him to the spirit world by only a few months.
