    He was a decorated WWI Vet and served as a Sargent in the 328 Infantry, 82 Division. He worked for the ILL Central RR and was killed by a train on the job at age 56. He left a widow and a 19 year old son. His mother's (Clementine) obituary from 1942 placed him in Illinois in 1942.

    William married Bertha SEIBERT on 16 Feb 1922 in Decatur, IL. Bertha was born in 1903; died in 1987. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
