Minnie was born in Indian Terr. southeast of Waurika, Okla. lived on a farm until she was 6 years old then attended a small country school called Bethel through the 8th.grade, when she was 17 met a boy named named Gene Phelps at a country party, they later married and raised a family of three children.
She died on October 04, 1998 and is buried next to her husband in the Waurika Cemetery. Burial: November 07, 1998, Waurika Cemetery.
