From Tom McElfresh e-mail dated 5-31-03: The 1910 North Carolina census lists Marion V. Bullock, age 33, born in
NC, married for twelve years, and living with his wife Lou Z. Bullock
and six children. Marion's occupation is "Farmer" on a "General Farm"
and he can read and write. He owns his farm, free of any mortgage.

This census lists Lou Z. Bullock, age 28, born in NC, married for
twelve years, the mother of seven children, six of which were living in
May 1910. She can read and write.

The children are:

Sampson A. Son age 10
Early? N. Son age 8
Claud G. Son age 6
John W. Son age 4
Curdis Son age 3
Odis T. Son age 8?/12

Also listed:

Nancy M. Mother age 75, widow
Martha C. Aunt age 52, single

All born in NC; all parents born in NC.

believe that her real name was "Lou Zetta" and that other folks
phonetically made a one-word name (such as "Lucetta") out of it.

1881-1882 -- the 1910 census (age 28).
Nov 1882 -- the 1900 census (age 17).
