A, 18th N.C. Regiment and/or Co. F, 4th N.C. Battalion and was captured near Petersburg, Va. on 25 Mar 1865. He was confined at Point Lookout, Md. until his release on or about 14 May 1865. Information from Kristina Turner (2002), citing an unidentified source sent by Branson Angel. Kristina -- you mentioned in email last month that you think he served in the 18th NC.
