Denise graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland and was a Master Degree Candidate at Loyola College in Baltimore, MD. She was Senior Editorial Consultant for PHH Corp in Baltimore and was PHH's "Outstanding" employee for years 1985-1989. She was a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, American Society for Training and Development and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Denise died of lung cancer at the age of 46 while living in Columbia, MD
