and died March 13, 1942 in Waurika, Okl;a. He married ELLEN ELIZABETH LONG August 26, 1902 in Milburn, Texas, daughter of JOSEPH LONG and MARY JOHNS. She was born December 02, 1883 in Polaska, Tenn., and died 1984 in Waurika, Okla.
Will "JW" Phelps was born in Fannin County, Texas January 10, 1875, Moved to Milburn, Texas with his grandparent's(who raised him) John and Permelia Moore; abt.1901 or 1902, Married Ellen Elizabeth(Betty) Long august 26,1902, moved to Oklahoma shortly after this, west of Waurika,Okla.about 20 miles called The Big Pasture, later moved to a farm east of Waurika called the pump station place,moved into Waurika after retirement,where he died March 13, 1942, Betty died December 24, 1984 at the age of 101. They are both buried in the Waurika cemetery West of town 1 mile.
