There are questions concerning our GGG grandmother, Elizabeth Black.
Her husband's given name is not known with certainty (some say it was
Frederich). Neither is her maiden name (some say it was Lockett).
There appears to be a marriage record for a Frederich Black & Elizabeth
Lockett in Mecklenburg Co, VA in Jan 1790. It is generally agreed that
this Frederich & Elizabeth had a daughter named Elizabeth. Some say
that this daughter married Richard Webster, but others say that she
married Jacob/Henry Bare of Ashe Co.
More research needed!
