  Posted by John Field Pankow on GenForum - jan 8, 2007: Juilianna was the oldest and Andrew was the youngest of eight children born to William Lindsay (1777-1841) and Elizabeth Briggs (1784-1871. William was the son of Judge Robert Lindsay (c.1735-1801) and Ann "Nancy" McGee (1753/4-1832). Judge Lindsay'ss home on Deep River, a portion of which still stands, was used as the meeting place of the Guilford County Court from 1771 to 1774. This is only about 6 miles from Kernersville, where the latger Lindsays lived.
