  By 1755 Zachariah was married and living in Bedford County, Virginia He died intestate. His sons John and Jacob administered. his estate. He had 8 legatees. He and his wife lived on Elk Creek and later on Oslin Creek a branch of Otter River of Bedford County They were landowners. See Deed Book 12, P. 427 for their children. Also they owned slaves. (C.
