| Early McGuffin Reunion Picture In a photo taken about 1915, Albert Perry McGuffin and Orpah Carmilla Kirk McGuffin pose with their living children, one son-in-law and grand children. Back row, left to right, Charles Edgar McGuffin, Lylah Dester McGuffin Johnson, Anderson Taylor McGuffin, Lustrus Wilson (husband of Nannie), Nannie McGuffin Wilson, Mack Guess McGuffin. Middle row, standing, John D. McGuffin, Blannie Johnson (step-daughter of Lylah), Selma McGuffin. Sitting in front, Albert Perry McGuffin and Orpah Carmilla Kirk McGuffin, with little Clarence Wilson, son of Nannie and Lustrus Wilson. All the people lived in or around Harriman, Tenn., except Nannie and her husband who lived in Kingsport, Tenn. This phot was probably taken when Nannie and her family came to Harriman for a visit, according to Margaret Pauline McGuffin Cavin. Missing from this photo is Willis McGuffin, son of Albert & Orpah. Willis died as a small child of diphtheria. (My photo was from the Mack Guess McGuffin collection) |
