Notes |
- Ben had polio as a young child and used crutches to walk all of his life. He attended and graduated from Arkansas A&M in Monticello. He was a career educator and was the Superintendent of Education Jefferson County.
He was married to Irene Umphers, Daughter of Joe & Elsie Umphers of Iuka, MS on 12 Jan 1952. They had a daughter Lynda.
