  Daughter of Greenberry Neil and Sarah Blevins. Surname Neil has also been spelled as Neal. Married Alexander N. Brown 14 Feb 1888 in Newton Co. MO. Her father is thought to have died during the civil war. Ann moved to Newton Co. Missouri (from Tennessee) in Oct 1884 to live with her mother and step father. Ann would of also had children Francis and Fannie Morton with her in this journey. Their existence is known as Ann mentioned them in her 4 Mar 1886 divorce petition from George Morton. It is assumed she was pregnant with 3rd child Sarah Tennessee when she left TN, but Sarah is not mentioned in the petition. Her 4th child was Myrtle Brown, with Alexander N. Brown. She had 2 sisters, 1 of which stayed in TN and the other also moved to MO and lived near Ann and their mother.
