  Death notices from the 5-10-1888 "Peoples Press" (Salem, NC) 1851-1892 list: "Joseph Fulp, aged 73 years, 6 months, and 20 days, n.d., at his home in Stokes Co, of Brights's disease. Mr Fulp was a well-known citizen". Based on Richard Fulp's family group sheet for Peter and Nancy, I have linked the above Joseph to be the son of Peter Fulp and Nancy Faire. Also the death notice date of 5-10-1888 coincides close enough with Richard's listing of 5-2-1888.
