  1. 1.  Keturah CARTER was born about 1778 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia; died about 1845 in Hempstead County, Arkansas.

    Notes:

    He (Armstead Blevins) is a mystery, because we are still trying to find out where he is buried and
    what happened to him after he and Keturah parted.

    She is supposedly buried in Hempstead County, Arkansas, and we think she went there to live with
    her son, Hugh Blevins, and his family. I am quite familiar with the cemeteries there and actually had
    Hugh, wife Sarah, and son, Hugh, Jr.'s stones moved from private property to Macedonia Church
    out from Blevins, Arkansas (named after Hugh).

    Keturah married Armstead BLEVINS in 1795 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Armstead (son of Dillon BLEVINS and Ann ARMSTRONG) was born about 1775 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia; died between 1814 and 1820 in Rutherford County, Tennessee. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
