As proved by deeds her name was Catherine.... however, it is possible that her name could have been Mary Catherine Entsminger.... but there is no proof of her maiden name. One of the same above deeds mentioned above in Shenandoah Co. VA was witnessed by Davis Entsminger and John Entsminger; and there was a John Entsminger listed in the 1850 census of Washington Co. TN
