1672 | Old Time Tazewell: George Phelps/Fultz Old Time Tazewell, p. 207: George Fultz, oldest son of Felte Fultz, Sr., was a good, honest citizen. He owned and lived on a farm on Straight Creek about four miles distant from Tazewell. His wife was Miss Cyntha Lynch. She was a very handsome, pleasant lady. They raised a family, but as I am not personally acquainted with them, I can only call to mind two sons and one daughter. Esquire Nelson Fultz owns and lives on the old homestead of his father, and cares for his widowed mother. His wife was a daughter of Druery Herrell, Sr. They have raised a nice, respectable family.
